SER430 - Spanish for Emergency Responders - 24.00 Hours

Education Credits
The SER course meets the objectives for Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) credit for the Intermediate Spanish for Law Enforcement Professionals (2109).

Description

Spanish for Emergency Responders (SER) is designed to develop fundamental Spanish speaking and listening skills pertaining to various situations, for law enforcement, fire and Emergency Medical Services. Proficiency is gained through the positive effects of repetition and review. Throughout the 24-hour course, participants gain a deeper understanding of the Hispanic culture. Participants receive functional materials designed to assist, reinforce, and continue study of the Spanish language. Through increased language capabilities and communications techniques, injuries may be prevented and lives could be saved.
