Course Description


WWW205 - Identification of Microorganisms - 20.00 Hours

Prerequisites

None.

Description

You will learn about basic use of a microscope, collection of samples and the classification of microorganisms, algae and protozoa. What are the higher-level organisms and how do they affect the biological treatment process?

Upon successful completion of this course, TCEQ will issue you:

  • 20 hours of water training credit
  • 20 hours of wastewater training credit

TEEX is authorized by International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to offer 2.0 CEUs for this program.
