Course Description
WWW115 - Industrial Pretreatment - 20.00 Hours
Prerequisites
None.
Description
20-hour course on the industrial pretreatment of potential pollutants/contaminants entering the Publically Owned Treatment Works (POTW) and collection system. This course covers the "who, what, when, where, why, and how" of handling non-domestic wastes entering into the POTW collection or wastewater treatment system.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued 20 hours of training credit toward wastewater certification by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). TEEX is authorized by IACET to offer 2.0 CEUs for this program.
NOTE: TCEQ granted this course equivalency with the TCEQ-approved correspondence course Pretreatment Facility Inspection which is an elective for the TCEQ Collection III license. Pretreatment Facility Inspection is offered through California State University at Sacramento.
