Course Description
WWW102 - Wastewater Treatment - 20.00 Hours
Prerequisites

You will be introduced to wastewater treatment, state requirements and records and safety practices. Learn about composition and characteristics of sewage, primary filters, the chlorination of wastewater and laboratory controls. You will gain knowledge in pretreatment, rotating biological contractors, the activated sludge process, sludge digestion and disposal, and advanced treatment processes. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued 20 hours of training credit toward wastewater certification by the TCEQ. TEEX is authorized by IACET to offer 2.0 CEUs for this program.
