TED Centers

Whether the client is a growing company or established corporation, individual entrepreneur or entire community, the Technology and Economic Development (TED) Division generates success by employing its expertise in technology commercialization, manufacturing engineering, small business growth, community development, information technology, semiconductor technical training and basic electronics training.

Through its centers, TED facilitates technology commercialization, workforce development and economic development tailored to suit the organization and its employees. TED relies on an extensive network of experts – both in-house and through partners in industry, universities and government – to aid in the delivery of these services.

Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center

The Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC) is a statewide extension network established to help Texas manufacturers become more competitive. By helping manufacturers reduce costs, increase sales and improve quality, TMAC helps keep and create quality jobs in Texas.

Knowledge Engineering Center

The Knowledge Engineering Center (KEC) assists clients by providing knowledge information technology products and services for integration into existing database systems. The KEC staff provides cost-effective systems integration and training support services and products.
