Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Program

Miner With Headlight Helmet The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is now offering a new training program in mine safety and health for miners and mine contractors. As one of the oldest and largest extension training organizations in the country and a recognized leader in health and safety training, TEEX has unparalleled experience in a wide variety of workforce training and adult education.

TEEX recognized the need for high-quality training in mine safety and health for workers at the 3,000+ mines in Texas and neighboring states of Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri. With 21 qualified trainers, including bilingual instructors, TEEX’s Professional & Regulatory Training Division is ready to provide mine safety and health training that meets your needs, no matter where your operation is located.


 

 

Customized Classes Delivered On-Site

 

If you have an approved training plan under Parts 46 or 48B, TEEX can develop programs or topics specialized for your employees and operations, and deliver it at your site or ours.
