NERRTC, a member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC), was established to train local and state officials and emergency responders to prepare for and respond to acts of terrorism including those involving the use of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and other special incidents. The center uses the proven methods of hands-on, performance-oriented training and simulations to enhance a jurisdiction’s ability to respond to and manage WMD incidents. The training is conducted under realistic conditions either at NERRTC facilities in College Station, Texas, or on-site in your jurisdiction.

How can NERRTC serve your jurisdiction?
  • Hands-on, scenario-driven training and exercises
  • Computer-based simulations and state-of-the-art computer-driven human patient simulators
  • Internet-based WMD responder training
  • Train-the-trainer programs
  • Training delivered to your jurisdiction at a time of your choosing

Why NERRTC?
The threat is real. The time is now. In the last several years, terrorism has become a reality in the United States. Terrorists can strike anywhere, anytime, and without warning. Let's work together to ensure that emergency responders in your jurisdiction are prepared to respond when disaster strikes. Our citizens expect nothing less.
